LETS START WITH THIS USEFUL INFORMATION.

You must have:

• Must be 18 yrs old or older to apply for DMV CDL (https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/)
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently according to this code: FMCSR 391.11(b)(2).
• Must have legal authorization to be able to work in USA. (https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/)
• Must get a (DOT) Department of transportation medical exam conducted by a clinic that is listed in the (DOT) approved providers or else the exam will not be accepted by DMV. (https://www.transportation.gov/)
• You have to study for taking a test at the DMV called the commercial learners permit. We have materials to study for this. When you pass, you obtain what is called the “Learners Permit” and that gives you permission by the DMV to sit on a truck and start learning how to use the truck.
